Anderson Bailey. Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA.

My goal in making pots is to create a fanciful marriage of form and function. The shapes are informed by glimpses of fantastic worlds and fragments of miniature make believe landscapes. I want them to appear as two-dimensional shapes inflated and brought to life; still maintaining some of the graphic qualities of a drawing. Details such as the interior curve of a lip on a handle further sophisticate the function of the objects, and hopefully create a more intimate relationship between the pot and its user.
