As a ceramic artist I alternate between making the small objects to filling large surfaces. Handbuilding with only a few tools makes me feel connected to the material.
A variety of aspects of “growth” is the most important source of inspiration for my work; organic shapes, the repetition of elements, growing patterns and forms. And of course, life in itself is a constant experience of the word.
The ceramic material can take many shapes and is obvious as a building material.
I carry out commissions for different environments, preferrably in dialogue with the architect, interior designer or user. My work can be seen in such diverse places as private and public entrances, on facades and in fountains. Playful but sincere.
Hand modeled ceramic forms and reliefs are mixed with mosaic and prefabricated tiles to create the whole picture; on walls, floors or as free standing forms.
Dream projects: a swimming bath or a spa setting.

I korthet; keramik är det material som jag aldrig tröttnar på att arbeta med. Det ger mig kontakt med den långa, långa traditionen av krukmakare i alla världens hörn. Så enkelt och primitivt, och så exklusivt och sofistikerat.
